Ms. Nyaata is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a consultant with Begi’s Law Offices & Chambers. She is a holder of a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard Law School, specializing in Child Care and Protection. She is also a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Certificate in Children Rights from the University of Pretoria as well as an advanced certificate in play therapy from Gransbaai in South Africa.
Ms. Nyaata also has legal practice experience, having worked with Karanja and Company
Advocates from the year 2011 to the year 2013, a period where she handled
approximately 10 different matters per week, in addition to legal research and writing.
Her research and writing prowess enabled her to be awarded the Mandela
Rhodes Scholarship, the Save the Children Award as well as being the National
Winner of the East African Community Essay Competition on EAC integration. Mrs.
