Education

Ms. Bisieri is a holder of Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is currently pursuing Certified Secretary Course with the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board.

She undertook her pupillage at Lucy Kambuni & Associates Advocates where she gained a wealth of experience. She was mainly attached to the litigation department where she gained knowledge on diverse litigation cases on Personal Injury Claims, Debt Recovery Claims, Commercial Litigation, Constitutional Petitions among other areas of practice affecting private firms and government agencies like the Kenya Power and Lighting Company, UAP Insurance Company Limited, ICEA Lion Group, Transitional Authority, Public Service Commission, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Commission of University Education, Kenya Co-operative Creameries, Retirement Benefits Authority.

Experience

On admission, Ms. Bisieri, did her legal practice in the firm of Kefa Ombati & Company Advocates where she was attached to the Litigation and Conveyancing Department. She now handled matters on a personal level for both corporate and individualclients both locally and internationally like the CMC Motors Group Limited, Imani Estate Developers and Pyramid Builders. Ms. Bisieri also got an opportunity to work at Toyota Kenya Limited where she represented Toyota Kenya, Toyota Tsusho Capital and Toyotsu Auto Mart in all court matters..

She also specialized in Commercial Law Practice through drafting and interpretation of Commercial Contracts for Toyota Kenya. She also had the opportunity to specialize in working Commercial Transactions like mergers, acquisitions, setting us subsidiaries of international firms through the company registration process, ensuring legal compliance at the Company Registry though filing necessary documents and acquiring the necessary work permits for foreigners wanting to work in Kenya

She also has the experience of working with financial institutions like Jamii Bora Bank, Sidian Bank where she acted as their external Advocate in handling transactions such as perfection of securities, creation of charges, discharge of charges, issuance of statutory notices and watching brief in criminal matters.

She is an able litigator having practiced in almost all levels of the judicial hierarchy from the Chief Magistrate’s Court to the Court of Appeal and also in other tribunals like the Business Premises and Rent Tribunal, Auctioneers and Licensing Board, Co-Operative Tribunal. She is also well versed on Family and Probate Matters. She handles diverse areas of the Law in Litigation and also she has the prowess in Commercial and Conveyancing matters. She handles both individual and corporate clients. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society of Kenya.
